What Type of Skin Concern Do You Have?
It is easy to assume that every small bump or red mark is the same. In reality, their appearance and underlying causes differ:
- Milia: Small, firm white bumps that often appear around the eyes or cheeks
- Skin tags: Soft, raised pieces of skin that may develop in areas where skin rubs together
- Broken capillaries: Fine red or purple vessels visible beneath the skin’s surface
Appearance alone cannot confirm exactly what a spot is. A new, changing, bleeding, or unfamiliar growth should be evaluated by a qualified medical provider before you pursue cosmetic treatment.

How Does Skin Classic Work?
Skin Classic uses a fine probe that lightly touches the skin while delivering a controlled electrical current. This allows the provider to work directly on an individual irregularity without using a scalpel.
Along with milia, skin tags, and broken capillaries, the treatment page lists concerns such as sebaceous hyperplasia, clogged pores, blackheads, keratosis, and certain brown or red spots. Not every mark belongs in one of these categories, which is why an in-person assessment matters.
During the procedure, you may feel a quick tapping or mild stinging sensation. The experience can vary depending on the type, size, number, and location of the areas being treated.
Skin Classic vs. IPL: What Is the Difference?
Skin Classic is generally used directly on a small, identified irregularity. IPL treatment, by comparison, uses light-based technology and may be considered when redness, visible vessels, or pigmentation extends across a wider portion of the face.
For example, one isolated skin tag calls for a different approach than widespread facial redness or several visible blood vessels. Raised bumps also differ from flat discoloration linked to uneven skin tone and pigmentation.
Neither option is automatically better. The right choice depends on what the concern is, how much skin is affected, and whether another type of care would be more appropriate.
What Should You Expect During Healing?
Temporary redness and irritation are normal after Skin Classic. Small crusts or scabs can also form where the probe touched the skin. Avoid picking or scratching these areas, since they need time to heal naturally.
Recovery can take up to one week. During that time:
- Cleanse the area gently
- Avoid harsh exfoliants
- Limit direct sun exposure
- Apply a moisturizing sunscreen daily
- Follow the aftercare instructions given by our team
